No bake vegan brownie energy bites

These no bake vegan brownie energy bites are made with only four ingredients! They are rich, gooey, nutty, chocolatey and full of goodness.

You must put these on your ‘to make’ list if you’re after a simple, healthy recipe that is packed full of flavour . I keep a stash in my fridge for a quick snack, a breakfast on the go or if you want to curb a sweet craving.

Ingredients

1 cup Sultanas

1 cup Almonds

1/2 cup Walnuts

1/4 cup + 1tbsp Raw cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients into a food processor until a dough starts to form.
  2. separate mixture and roll into round balls until all the mixture has been used.
  3. Place the bites into the fridge for at least an hour, then enjoy!

 

Benefits

Raw cocoa powder –  Cacao is very high in essential nutrients like magnesium, B vitamins and iron. It is one of the world’s richest sources of antioxidants and most powerful super-foods.

Sultanas –  Sultanas can aid digestion, boost iron levels, and keep your bones strong. They are naturally sweet and packed with energy.

Almonds – Packed full of healthy fats, fibre, protein, magnesium and vitamin E. Almonds have many health benefits which include lower blood sugar levels, reduced blood pressure and lower cholesterol levels.

Walnuts – Walnuts provide a good source of healthy fats, protein, and fibre. They can help enhance heart and bone health and help in weight management.

 

These are raw, vegan and gluten free. They will last for up to three weeks in an air tight container in the fridge (if all ingredients are fresh).
